Aurus Key does not collect any of the following:
🔒 App Permissions
Aurus Key requests no Android permissions. The App does not access the internet, your contacts, storage, camera, microphone, or any other device resource. All password generation is performed entirely within the app's sandboxed environment using standard Android APIs.
- No INTERNET permission — the app is fully offline
- No READ/WRITE storage permissions
- No location permissions
- No camera or microphone permissions
- No contacts or calendar access
⚙️ How the App Works
Aurus Key is a standalone, on-device tool that generates secure passwords based solely on the settings you choose within the app. The following technologies are used internally and do not involve any data transmission:
- AndroidX Navigation Component — in-app screen navigation only
- Material Design Components — user interface rendering only
- ConstraintLayout and AppCompat — layout and compatibility only
- SharedPreferences (if used) — stored locally on your device, never transmitted
No third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or remote configuration are integrated into this application.
🔗 Third-Party Services
Aurus Key does not integrate any third-party services, including but not limited to:
- No Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, or any analytics platform
- No AdMob, Meta Audience Network, or any advertising SDK
- No Crashlytics, Sentry, or any crash/error reporting service
- No cloud storage, sync, or remote database services
- No social media login or sharing SDKs
The only external interaction is the standard Google Play Store distribution channel, which is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
🛡️ Data Security
Because Aurus Key collects no data and performs no network communication, there is no user data at risk of interception, breach, or unauthorized access on our end. Any passwords generated or saved within the app reside exclusively on your personal device and are subject to your device's own security (screen lock, encryption, etc.).
We strongly encourage users to keep their device software up to date and to use device-level encryption for maximum protection of locally stored data.
👶 Children's Privacy
Aurus Key is not directed at children under the age of 13, nor does it knowingly collect any information from children. Since the App collects no personal information from any user of any age, it inherently complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations.
